要點：比較級是兩者或者兩部分之間進行比較。兩者比較要用比較級。than 比。
比如說：
他比Jim高。
這條河流比那條河流長。
這本書比那本重。
He is taller than Jim.
（tall-taller；long-longer；heavy-heavier）
要點：最高級就是三者或者三者以上進行比較，註意比較的范圍。
比如說：
他是我們三個最高的一個。
這個房子是所有的房子中最大的一個。
（tall-tallest；big-biggest）

第一種情況：如圖所示：
第二種情況：部分雙音節與多音節的詞比較級在原級之前加more, 最高級在原級之前加most

第三種情況：不規則變化的形容詞:
little （原形） – less （比較級）- least（最高級）

例句展示：
Tom is tall. John is tall. Bob is tall.
I'm as tall as you. Tom is as tall as John.

常見的用法如下
一、 在…than…句中，這是常見的比較級用法
He is taller than I.（口語中常作：He is taller than me.）
他比我高。
He is two heads taller than I.
他比我高出兩個頭。
二、 比較級and比較級，表示越來越……
It‘s getting darker and darker.
天越來越黑瞭。
He is getting more and more interestedin sports.
他對體育越來越感興趣。
備註：如果是多音節的話，用more and more+adj./adv.
More and more beautiful；more and more carefully
三、 The +比較級，the +比較級， 表示越……，越……
The more you eat， the more you want.你越吃越想要。
The earlier you get up ，the more you read.你起的越早，你讀的就越多。
四、 在which…or…？句中，表示兩者比較
Which is bigger， the sun or the moon？
太陽和月亮，哪一個更大？
五、形容詞比較級前可受much,far,a lot,still,no,a little,even,any 修飾，表示超出的程度
1. much
We have a much better life now. 我們現在的日子好得多瞭。
2. far
The buildings look far uglier in London than here.
倫敦的建築比這兒的難看得多。
3. even
This story is even more interesting than that one.
這個故事比哪個更有趣。
4. a lot
I made a lot more mistakes than you (did).
我犯的錯誤比你多多瞭。
5. a little
Your cake is a little bigger than mine.
你的蛋糕比我的大一點兒。
6. still
It‘s still colder today. 今天更冷一些。
7. any
Have you any more? 你還有嗎？

She‘s no better yet.
