Coronavirus Update/ Returning to the Office: AEI's is in the process of preparing our office for staff to return on a modified schedule, providing the City of Boston re-opening guidelines continue to move forward. During quarantine, AEI's staff have successfully worked remotely. Every staff member is equipped with the same equipment at home as they have in the office to ensure efficiency and seamless transitions between workstations. We will continue to work remotely and will provide a formal reopening date when it's available. At this time, only staff will be allowed in our space. Our contact information and policies on in person meetings and site visits remain the same as they have since early March. Please feel free to contact us if you have questions.

Out and About

Tim Aduralere Inducted as Global 'Leader of Tomorrow'

Tim Aduralere returned from the St. Gallen Symposium in Switzerland where he was inducted into the “Leaders of Tomorrow” global community. While there, he engaged in discussions with business leaders such as Jeremy Rifkin and Steve Forbes and made connections with international recipients of the prestigious award (shown right).

EEA Gala 2018

Wednesday evening was the ACEC/MA Engineering Excellence Awards Gala. Together with BR+A we submitted the VA Replacement Hospital project in New Orleans. Joel, Nick, Paul and Tim represented AEI, and the project was recognized with a silver award. Our plaque is on display at the front desk.

Winthrop Center Project Tour

Robin, Joel, Susan, Nick, Jim, Jon, Mike K. and Tim L. all toured the Millennium Tower next door on Tuesday to get a sense of what we should expect during design of the club floors and conference centers at Winthrop Square.

WTS February Luncheon

Joel and Jen attended the WTS February Lunch, featuring Stephanie Seskin, the Active Transportation Director for the City of Boston.

ACEC Planning Cabinet

Joel spent Friday in Washington D.C. for an ACEC Planning Cabinet meeting.

ACEC BIT and Presidential Search

Robin chaired the ACEC Business Insurance Trust meeting over the weekend. She also spent Monday and Tuesday in Washington D.C. where she and a panel of four others interviewed candidates for the new ACEC president and CEO position.

Susan and Nick - Rising Leaders

Susan and Nick attended the 2018 Rising Leaders Conference for Engineering and Consulting Firms in NYC on Thursday and Friday. It was hosted by the Environmental Financial Consulting Group.

ACEC National Executive Committee

Robin and Joel spent the week in Hawaii at an ACEC National ExCom Meeting.
