Assabet Valley Vocational Technical High School, Marlborough, Mass.

AEI provided electrical engineering services related to the testing and evaluation of electrical feeders in the existing 410,000 SF high school. The study assessed the feasibility of reusing feeders for the unit substations and panelboards, and determined the necessity of electrical upgrades including switchboard and panelboard replacements. Design involved lighting, power and emergency power generation and affected classrooms and science laboratories throughout the school.  All work was coordinated to occur in the evenings and on the weekends so as not to interfere with classes and the safety of the student population.
